Writing 101: Be Brief

Bismillahirrahmaanirrahiim…

She was stunned when her black leather shoes stepped on a different surface. Not ceramic tiles of her classroom, not a sticky chewing gum either. A yellowish folded paper is tucked under those soles. She reached her hands towards that piece of paper before bringing it closer to her eyes. A short sentence was written on it.

“Are you okay?”

A soft voice spokes to her in a worried tone. When she lift her head up, she found no one.
